Walton Street Blacksoil Real Estate Debt Fund – I has invested Rs 80 crore through structured debt with two Hyderabad based developers, according to a senior company official.

“Cybercity and Saket have been offering realty solutions that deliver high value to the customers consistently over decades,” said Mohinder Pal Bansal, Blacksoil Group Founder.
Walton Street Blacksoil real estate debt fund is managed by Blacksoil. The fund had raised Rs 320 crore in 2018 primarily from family offices & HNIs.
Walton street is anchor investor in the fund and they also play the role of investment advisor to fund manager
Cybercity Group has delivered 4.6 million sq ft of residential real estate with another 3.7 million sq ft under construction across Hyderabad and Chennai.
Apart from various domestic institutions, global private equity players like Walton Street Capital, Goldman Sachs have earlier invested in Cybercity.
“The fund continues to invest in affordable and mid-market residential segment across top metros of India and has so far deployed 80% of the fund's Rs 320 crore corpus raised in 2018, across 8 deals,” the company said in a statement.
Saket Group has delivered 4 million sq ft of residential real estate over the past 33 years. Saket Group is currently developing an 80-acre township named Saket Bhusatva near Kompally, North Hyderabad and is also rapidly expanding its senior living portfolio in the city under the Saket Pranamam brand.
Walton Street India is a real estate private equity firm with over a decade long real estate experience in India of advising/ investing $125 mn for debt transaction and continue to invest in the residential real estate.
BlackSoil has registered year-on-year growth of over 100% in disbursement as the company cumulatively disbursed Rs 2,000 crore of debt deals via its credit platform of NBFC and AIFs.
